LOIS WALKER (nee MCCULLOUGH) After a brief illness, Mom passed away at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Dave, infant son Douglas, and son-in-law Grant. Mom is survived by her sister Pat Findlay, her children Rick (Fran), Gerry (Karen), Carol and Jocelyn (Alex), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. Mom was very independent, enjoyed travelling, playing games (and winning!), gardening, jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, jumbles, tea parties, and time with family and friends. For a small person she will leave a huge void in our lives. The family wishes to thank the staff at Grace Hospital for their care and compassion during Mom's stay. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with a reception afterward. A private family interment will be at a later date. • My sincere condolences to Lois's family and sister Pat. I spent a lovely day with Lois on my only visit to Manitoba in the early 90s. My dad was very fond of his cousins and often spoke of happy times with them on the farm. - Posted by: Sheila Barker (Daughter of Lois's cousin Reg Millroy) on: Jul 10, 2017

  • I will miss this dear lady very much. She was small in stature but was a big presence in many lives. I loved telling her that she scared me. You didn't argue with Lois! - Posted by: Kim (I called her mom) on: Jul 05, 2017
