ERIKA SAUNDERS Suddenly after a brief stay at Seven Oaks Hospital, with family by her side, Erika Martha Rosa Saunders (nee Trampe), beloved wife of Gerhard (Jerry) Fickert, passed away on July 13, 2017. Erika leaves behind her children Kathy Sabourin (Norm), Debbie Saunders (Nick), and Allan Saunders (Debbie); brother Klaus Trampe (Ghislaine); sister Renate Klingberg (Ingo); grandchildren Kirsten Hudey (Trevor), Ryan and Jared Saunders; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Erika and Jerry loved to travel to Hawaii and Mexico where they shared many fond memories together. Erika worked at Eaton's Downtown in the housewares department until her retirement. Erika has requested a private family gathering. Our family would like to extend our gratitude to the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital. • Kathy, Debbie and Allan we offer our deepest sympathy to you Jerry and your families. Your Mom is free of pain at last and will live on in you and your families memories forever. Hug each other tightly and remember all the good times. We will always remember that time we all bussed down to the Shooting Star Casino for the weekend. We all had a great time and your Mom and Jerry really seemed to enjoy themselves. We know you all will miss her very much. - Posted by: Kathy Reimer (Family friend) on: Jul 16, 2017
