She will be missed by her children, George and Claudette; grandson Matthew; and great-granddaughter Jade. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Holy Trinity Church, Donald St. at Graham Ave. Paid parking. As I see Dorest's smiling face in the obituary, I can hear her loud, friendly laugh!! I remember her well when I first started on the labour floor, as I had some experience from elsewhere, but not what Dorest was demanding. She was such a hard-worker, and so committed to doing things right!! She ran a tight ship in the OR, as was necessary. She knew how to laugh, and she knew how to take good care of herself! She was a beautiful woman, and always spoke warmly of her dear family. I am so sorry for the grief you must go thru now.
