ARMELLE MARIE LOUISE ETHEL DECHENE Armelle passed away peacefully on July 24, 2017 at the Carman Memorial Hospital. Armelle was born on April 20, 1929 in Montreal, Quebec and lived most of her life in Starbuck, Manitoba. Armelle took over the post office in Starbuck from her parents and served as postmaster for many years before retiring to enjoy her artistic and gardening passions. Armelle was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Madeleine; brother-in-law, Russell; and her nephew Paul. She is survived by many friends, her niece, Michelle (partner Dave) and Michelle's two daughters: Christin (husband Sebastian) and their two children, Zachary and Zara; and Pam (partner Jamie) and her son, Maddoc; daughter, Madalyn; and stepdaughter, Jayden. There will be no funeral service. A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Armelle's name may be made to Carmen Memorial Hospital - Palliative Care Unit, C.N.I.B., or a charity of choice.
