SYLVIA MAY MACDONALD Our mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Sylvia May MacDonald (formerly Pooley and Sheridan) passed away peacefully, June 29, 2017, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Woodhaven, 2700 Portage Avenue with Reverend Aubrey Hemminger. The family would like to thank the incredible staff of ward 3 North at the Grace Hospital for their kindness and care. Sylvia was a classy lady. She was always smiling. The Monday shift at "Things" will miss her happy demeanour. I enjoyed discussing with her, my latest visit to her beautiful home town in England.
