HELEN MARIE SINCLAIR (LUPUL) On Saturday, July 22, 2017 Marie lost her battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her mother Hilary, father Peter, and sister Mavis. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, sisters, and numerous other family members. Marie was born on June 24, 1953 in Selkirk, Manitoba. She spent many years in Newfoundland before moving back to Selkirk, and then to Winnipeg in later years. Marie worked at various jobs but found her niche in home care. She was a hard working, dedicated employee until her illness progressed, and she was no longer able to work. Marie was a unique and memorable individual who met challenges head on, and on her own terms. She was known for her straightforward approach, and many received phone calls at any time of day or night when she wanted to reach out. She loved music, reading, trips to the casino, going on outings, attending prayer groups and spending time with friends. At her request, cremation has taken place. Marie decided not to have a service or memorial. Special thanks to all who extended their friendship and support to Marie over the years. She is in the arms of the angels now, away from the illnesses that took their toll, both mentally and physically. She is now at peace.
