Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA LAVOIE Linda (Lavasseur) Lavoie passed away July 28, 2017 at the age of 53 years. Left to mourn her passing is her granddaughter Alycia Lavoie, her best friend and roommate Danielle Dussault, her adoptive parents Athanase Lavoie and Thérèse (Légaré) Lavoie, her adoptive brothers and sister Daniel (Louise), Denis (Louise), Marcelle (Yves), Roland (Francine), and nieces and nephews. Linda also leaves to mourn her siblings Sally, Violet, Marilyn and Allen. Linda was predeceased by her adopted sister Angela, her birth parents Albert Lavasseur and Cecile Marie Richard, her daughter Jos-Anne Desrosiers, her sisters Florence, Viviane, and her brother Walter. Linda was born on September 12, 1963 in Sandy Bay, Manitoba. She lived in Dunrea, Manitoba before moving to Winnipeg with her adoptive family. Linda was a gentle soul and never hesitated to help those in need. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by all those that knew her. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Parish Church 4588 Roblin Blvd., Friday, August 4 at 10:30 a.m. The interment will be in Dunrea, Manitoba at a later date. Although I haven't seen Linda in 35 years I found myself thinking of her recently and wondered how she was doing. To her loved ones I offer my heartfelt sympathies. I cannot think of Linda without remembering her beautiful smile and easy laughter. She was so very kind.
