Madelaine and Gerry, I will always remember the summer Marie and I both had whooping cough and your family invited me to go to Lilac Resort in your new camper trailer. I'm pretty sure we both drove you crazy with our constant coughing but I remember having a great time. We had many barbie play dates back in the day and she was a good friend to me. • I will treasure the last 33 years we have been friends... we started out as neighbors to being your babysitter and to close friends... Enjoying our children together and time alone.... Pour our hearts out to each other in troubled times and laughing with one another in silly moments... Marie and me may have not always seen each other from day to day but I always knew she was there as I was for her..and just sending each other brief messages and keeping up to date... We had our regular outings to the zoo and making cookies at Christmas and even bowling and hanging with the David when he came to town. Also many birthday celebrations...Loved seeing our kids hang out and become friends... I still cannot believe our beloved Marie is gone.... Miss her at every turn think about her at every moment.. She was a great friend.... I will be there for your family my friend.. forever and always... You are my family... Rest in peace... • My heartfelt condolences. I worked with Marie while she completed her practicum. We shared an office and spent a lot of time together. She was an amazing woman and friend and put her heart and soul into everything she did. Her pride and joy, her boys and family were always spoken about with so much love and compassion. • I remember going over to the Lemay's house back on Kitson Street to spend time with my best buddy, Rob. Sometimes I would disappear without Rob noticing. He would ask around: "Where did Dave go?" ... and after looking around the house, he would eventually find me playing Barbies with Marie. This was always something Marie and I talked about when we saw each other. Now it will be a great memory that I will share with everyone when I speak about my dear friend's sister.
