Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUISE MARIE THERESE PERLES (née PERRON) It is with broken hearts that we announce the very sudden passing of Louise Marie Thérèse Perles (née Perron), 66, at her home in Johnstown, Ontario, on August 16, 2017. She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Michael Perles, and her beloved children, Adam and Michelle (Kyle MacNeil). Born on October 3, 1950, to a large French-Canadian family, Louise grew up in St. Adolphe and graduated from St. Norbert Collegiate. She married Michael on February 20, 1971, and they settled in Charleswood. Louise had a thirst for knowledge and went back to school while raising her children and working full time. She obtained diplomas from both Red River Community College and the University of Manitoba. She happily retired from the Winnipeg School Division in 2010, and found joy in her sewing and painting. In 2013, Louise and Michael moved to Ontario to be closer to their children, and they found their dream home in Johnstown. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Urbain and Rose Marie Perron, and her in-laws, Martin and Mary Perles. She leaves to mourn her siblings, Yvette Quass (Fred), Denise Toifl (Edward), Marcel Perron (Ginette), Rita Strong (Edward), twin sister Liliane Joyce (Lorne), Gisèle Barrett, Joceline Bettencourt (Manuel) and Georges Perron (Dale), as well as many nieces and nephews, and family members from Michael's side. Louise was a gentle, loving woman who was guided by her faith in all things. Her kindness, patience and devotion were unparalleled. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Boulevard, with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. I was so sorry and sadden to hear of the passing of your wonderful wife and mother. Louise was a 'Mama' to many, she did it so well! I am forever grateful for how she always made me feel welcome and loved when I was with your family. She was thoughtful, kind, and generous. I have such cherished memories of spending time at the cabin, playing games at the kitchen table, or being cuddled up watching movies. She made your Charleswood house, a warm and loving home. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. Mike, Michelle & Adam - May the love she so freely gave surround you all and carry you through this most difficult time. May you find peace & comfort in your memories, and each other. My heart breaks along with you as I send my love and condolences. Oh ma jolie Louise! I was so sad to hear of the passing of this most gentle of women. With her kindness, calm and generosity of spirit, she was well loved by staff and students. When my sister was sick and I was so sad and scared, I simply melted into her hug and somehow she made it all seem all right. For this uncompromising love and understanding I will never forget her. My deepest condolences to you all on the loss of such a remarkable woman. Gros bisous toujours. - Posted by: Leanne Anderstedt (Teacher- friend at Collège Churchill) on: Aug 21, 2017

We are so saddened for the loss of such a wonderful soul. We have been blessed to know and cherish Louise through the marriage of my brother, Kyle to Michelle. Words cannot express the love we felt for her warm, kind, loving spirit. She embraced my brother as her second son, for this we are so truly thankful. My children, Kaitie and Zach were so truly touched by her presence. My mother, Marilyn has lost a true friend. Louise touched all of our lives and through her memories I can only smile. Her kindness, gentleness, loving way I know will always be in our hearts. To Michelle, my sister, my friend Take her strength, and get through this most painful moment.
