Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTON (TONY) SCHROEDER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anton Schroeder on August 19, 2017, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his wife Waltraud Schroeder in 2003. He is survived by his sons Hans (Jo-Ann) of Winnipeg and Tony (Alexis) of Okotoks, AB; daughter Rosemary (Rick) of Winnipeg; grandchildren Ehren (Jamie) and Graham (Mat) of Calgary, Lukas of Winnipeg, Jennifer (Justin), Brian and Rick Jr. of Winnipeg; and great-grandchildren Benjamin and Nathan of Calgary. Anton had been a member of the German Society of Winnipeg and Kolping Society of Winnipeg for many years. He loved to travel, be with family and friends, and always took great pride in his home improvements and yard maintenance. A special thanks to the staff of Amber Meadows, homecare, Dr. M. Pirzada, and the nursing staff and doctors at Seven Oaks Hospital. Interment was held at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anton's memory to a charity of one's choice.
