Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD DIETER GUTSCHE Gerald passed away peacefully, at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, on August 16, 2017. Gerald was born on September 17, 1954, to Hildegard and Wilhelm Gutsche. He spent his childhood in Winnipeg, before moving to Calgary, and then back to Winnipeg again in his 40s. Gerald enjoyed spending time with family and friends, a good meal and conversation. He always had a good joke to tell. Gerald also enjoyed the outdoors like 20 bears. His favourites were fishing, hiking, camping and horseback riding. Gerald was predeceased by his father in 2009, and his brother Willi in 1985. Remaining to cherish his memory are his mother Hildegard, extended family in Germany, and friends in Calgary and Winnipeg. In accordance with Gerald's wishes a private service will be held. Our heart goes out to you Tante Hildegard. When we were young we had good times with Gerald and Willi. We would go swimming at the Ness pool and good memories of our trip to Germany.
