Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY SMITH (nee TAYLOR) On Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at the Holy Family Nursing Home, Mary Smith passed away at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Arthur, brothers Edward, Peter and Arthur, sisters Annie McIntosh and Pat Chestnut. She leaves to mourn her 14 nieces and nephews, their spouses and their children and grandchildren. Mary was born on July 26, 1929, fourth of six children to Henry and Elizabeth Taylor, of Winnipeg, Manitoba. On July 30, 1960, she married Arthur Smith. Mary worked at New Method Laundry and later with an electrician, fixing and assembling lamps. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery). The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Holy Family Nursing Home for the care she received while living there.
