Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE (CATHY) GAMBLE Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Catherine Gamble, on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Winnipeg, at the age of 62 years. Remaining to cherish Cathy's memory are her loving spouse, Michael Gallant; sons William Gamble and Ryon Gamble; stepdaughters Meladene and Paula; grandchildren Dallas, Chance, Nicholas, River, Tyler and Lucas; sisters Jean and Anna, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother and father; daughter Robin, and granddaughter Summer. Cathy loved all of her family unconditionally; she loved camping and enjoyed the great outdoors, but staying in hotels and resorts was her favourite way to 'camp'. Cathy was always there for the people she cared about, no matter what. She took great care of, and raised her two boys on her own. She was forgiving and kind and meant the world to her family and friends. Cathy will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever. Cathy's Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017 in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. Special thank you to all the loved ones who have helped during this time of sorrow and for the wonderful staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cathy's name to The Salvation Army, Neighbours Helping Neighbours Program, or to The Winnipeg Humane Society. From curious young girls on a mission exploring our world (boys) to crossing paths years later ending up working at the very same place we investigated so many years before. You were courageous, a fighter, a loving, caring soul and will be very much missed. My thoughts and prayers to your family. Rest easy my friend.
