Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROL THOMSEN August 4, 1943 - August 27, 2017 Suddenly on Sunday, August 27, the most selfless and loving woman left us to be with both her son and her saviour Jesus Christ. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Carla Margarida, her grandchildren, Alicia (Jordan), Raina and Zackary Ward. She also leaves to mourn her extended family, her church family, and many other friends who were also so very close to her heart. Carol was predeceased by her son Mark Kevin Ward in January, 2015, six of her siblings and her parents, Elise and Viggo Thomsen. Carol devoted her life to helping all of those around her in anyway she could, especially her grandchildren. Although she was most excited to meet her great-granddaughter Lily, God knew she wanted to be in the arms of her son once again. So he made the beautiful reunion happen. Jeg elsker dig (I love you). A celebration of Carol's life will be held Wednesday, September 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Garden Park Church, 1825 Inkster Blvd. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Bruce Oake Recovery Centre.
