KAROLY (CHARLIE) VIDA 1947 - 2017 It is with sad hearts and loving memories that the family of Karoly (Charlie) Vida, 70 years old, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Riverview Health Centre. Charlie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Eva; his children Christelle (Michael) and Daniel (Bryan), three grandchildren Sara, Alexander and Paul, his brother Gerry (Fran), niece Dusty (Dave), and nephews Shandor (Heidi) and Russell (Karla), as well as numerous others relatives. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Géza and Alujza. Charlie was retired from his work as an electrician with the Province of Manitoba. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, September 4 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, across from Brookside Cemetery. Father Armand Le Gal will officiate. Viewing will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Tuesday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation or Riverview Health Centre Foundation. The family is grateful for and would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for the professional and compassionate care extended to both Charlie and his family.
