Born: Oct 31, 2004
Date of Passing: Aug 27, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRANDEN RYAN KETCHEN MILLER It truly saddens me to announce that our son has grown his wings and is in a place where there is no more pain and suffering. Branden was born October 31, 2004 and was diagnosed with a neurological degenerative disease called Krabbe disease, a form of Leukodystrophy. Through his 12 year battle for life, the many doctors and home care staff took exceptional care of Branden and help give him a quality of life second to none. Sadly, on Sunday, August 27, 2017, Branden passed away peacefully in his father's arms at the place he knew far too well... his home. Branden will be greatly missed by his parents, Ryan and Denise, his siblings, William, Jerrica, and Mikael, his grandparents, Bob, Marilyn, Dorothy, and Lester. Branden has touched the hearts of so many, many more. All are welcome to attend a celebrate Little Man's life - 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at St. Hyacinthe Parish, 27 Rue Beaudry in La Salle with a Celebration of Life to follow at LSCU Complex, 80 PR 247E in La Salle. Donations can be made to Branden's Hope, at the Children's Hospital Foundation, CE501 - 840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, R3A 1A1. Donations will be collected at the church. Ryan and Denise; I was scrolling through some stuff online today and came across the obituary. Branden, while I was only with him the few times, he was a sweet little man and he will be dearly missed. Love to you both. Denise and Ryan, I want to thank you both for allowing me to meet Branden. He will be remembered and always be in my heart. I will never forget him and the love I felt just being around him and holding him as a baby. Branden's Hope angels will always be on my Christmas tree. May God bless you all and may you find some comfort knowing how much he was loved. Rest in peace Little Angel! Diane - Posted by: Diane Sinnock (friend) on: Sep 02, 2017

My deepest sympathies to the Miller family. I remember what a little fighter Branden was right from birth. Denise would come into the credit union with him and he brightened up the room. For some reason that is hard to understand, God only takes the best. May you find comfort knowing he is no longer struggling or in pain, and that he will live on in your hearts. - Posted by: Donna Larner (friend of the family) on: Sep 02, 2017
