CONNIE MAE JAMAN January 27, 1963 - August 31, 2017 After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of our much-loved mother and sister, peacefully with family at her side. Connie is survived by cherished son Braeden Yasinsky and her sister Melody (Wayne) Bodnarchuk, predeceased by parents, Peter and Mary Jaman, and adored son Brett Yasinsky. Connie was an employee of Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries for over 30 years where she made lasting friendships and many fond memories. Connie will always be remembered for her immense love of animals, and her wish to be their keeper in heaven. Connie was crazy funny; her awesome sense of humour will be truly missed. Connie's greatest love was being a mother to her boys; she reveled in their happiness. Connie's health began to deteriorate after her son Brett was killed by a drunk driver. Braeden was her salvation and they enjoyed each other tremendously. With Connie's passing the world became a duller place and heaven gains a sparkle. It was Connie's wish that we extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Dawe and the team at CancerCare Manitoba, the outstanding emergency team at Health Sciences Centre and the generosity and support of the Never Alone Foundation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Never Alone Foundation in her memory. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB. Viewing will take place one hour prior. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenedenmemorial.ca Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111

  • Condolences to the Jaman family. It was my pleasure working with you and calling you my friend. RIP - Posted by: Tom (Friend) on: Sep 03, 2017

  • Connie and I worked together in H.R. at Lotteries in the late 1980's and early 1990's. we kept in touch over the years, and every time we talked, her focus was on her sons. She honoured Brett's memory by becoming involved in M.A.D.D., raising awareness so that other families might avoid the pain and loss that her family endured. My thoughts and prayers are with Braden and the rest of Connie's family and friends. Sandy Tapper - Posted by: Sandy Tapper (co-worker) on: Sep 03, 2017

  • Connie was simply a pleasure to work with day in and day out. Kind, unassuming and with a very quick and playful sense of humour. The world, and all of us in it are poorer for Connie's departure. Rest In Peace Connie - may you find ever lasting joy in reunion with your son. - Posted by: Trevor Buhnai (Past Co-worker) on: Sep 02, 2017
