Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryINES BAIROS FONTES (nee ALMEIDA) 1939 - 2017 With deep sadness, the family announces the passing of their beloved mother and grandmother, Ines Fontes on August 31, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Ines leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter Guilhermina "Ginger" (Randy); grandsons Shaun (Carrin), Christopher and stepgrandchildren; sisters Eugenia Inacio (the late Manuel Antonio), Guilhermina Puim (Jose), Ermelinda Freitas (the late Luis)and Adelina Chaves (the late Jose); brothers Jaime Sousa (Ilda) and Jose Almeida (Susan); as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends. Ines was predeceased by her husband Antonio Sousa Fontes, sister Conceicao Falcao (the late Jose Falcao), and brother Jose Antonio Almeida (Ines). The family would like to thank Park Manor Care Home for taking such good care of Mom. A special thank you to Jose and Rosa Fontes for the many visits and all the time spent with Mom. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Park Manor Care Foundation Fund, 301 Redonda Street, Winnipeg, MB R2C 1L7.
