ERIN SUSANNE VANKAMMEN (née SLAA) Peacefully and in the full confidence of her faith in Jesus Christ, her saviour, it has pleased the Lord, at His time, to call home on September 9, 2017, Erin Susanne Vankammen. Erin was the treasured wife of Duard and a devoted mother to their daughter Roxy. Erin lived each day of her 25 years in God's service and has now received her eternal crown of glory. During the 10 years of her illness, Erin earnestly looked forward to the return of Jesus Christ. Erin will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Henry and Judy Slaa; her siblings, Crystal (Philip), Sheldon (Christina), Tyson, Riley; and her grandparents, Henry and Frances Slaa, and Terry and Anna Veenendaal. Erin was predeceased by her sister Darcie and Darcie's fiance Gavin Nordeman, and grandmother Sue Veenendaal. Erin's inlaws will also cherish her memory. Harry and Jellie Vankammen, Mirna (Jan Willem), Trish (Martin), Janina Vankammen and Mark Van Dam, Tamara (Colin), Rica, grandmother Mintje Spoelstra, along with many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Canadian Reformed Church, Carman West, Carman, Manitoba. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Canadian Reformed Church, Carman West with Rev. J. Poppe officiating. Interment will take place in Elm Creek Cemetery.
