  • I pause, as I shake off the sadness of, Edith passing. Although we did not visit much, in person.......I felt her presence often. Every celebration, every sadness, every special life happening, or just a worry......Edith was the one I called. She was ever present,in almost every happening of my life. I would pick up the phone, from Gimli or Yuma..... hear her voice, and I knew without a doubt, I had her full attention, for however long, the conversation went on. When I was done with my life update, I would say,Edith how are you doing? Never was it about her.....she would go on and on, with such love and enthusiasm, getting me updated on her children and her precious Grandchildren. Edith loved her children with every core in her body.....no favourites, just pure joy of expressing, how each and everyone of them was doing, in their lives.....she was a very special lady, a thread that kept the extended family together. Memories of our long ago young family gatherings, Christmas chocolate balls, and crabapple jelly, made from the tree in her back yard......will forever be ingrained in my soul.....I will miss her gentle words of wisdom.....heaven has truly gained, a very special angel...Hugs and loves to all her family....RIP Edith - Posted by: Judie Park (Family) on: Sep 16, 2017

  • R.I.P Aunt Edith.. You were one of those women I thought you would live forever. You were like a mom to my mother, she always had good things to say about you on how well you took care of her while she was growing up. Many memories at Christmas time and the visits to your house especially when you had your apple tree in the backyard. When I think of my dear Aunt Edith, a great big smile comes across my face. You see, no matter what the circumstances in life her will would never break. Compassionate love she gave to all. Family was first, this I know for sure. But one describes her just right A beautiful soul always to be missed An angel living in heavenly sunlight Go be with Jesus my dearest Aunt Let your smile brighten Heavens gate For we know we shall see you again - Posted by: Kathy januszewski (Neice) on: Sep 15, 2017

  • So sorry to hear. She was a such a nice lady. I worked with her in the office at Ralph Brown when my kids were in that school. I was a volunteer and she took me under her wing. We shared many of good stories and I will miss her dearly. Rest in Peace Mrs. Chesley. - Posted by: Joanne Horeczko (Friend) on: Sep 15, 2017
