BLANCHE ARSELIA GOETHALS (AQUIN) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother Blanche on September 9, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Blanche was the fourth of a family of nine. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Goethals; parents, Edwin and Marie Anne Aquin of Elie, MB; brother, Romeo (Annette); brother, Lucien (Jennifer); brother, Lionel (Annette, Rose); sister, Cecile (Leopold); sister Juliette (Arthur); brother-in-law Joe; and great-grandson Kristopher. She will be missed and remembered by her children, Lloyd (Mary, Grace), Pat (James), Bryan (Maggie, Dale), Fred (Pat, Gayle), Ann-Marie (Brian, Alex); and Maurice (Irma); grandchildren Charles, Shelley (Cory), Kristopher (Porcha), Jeffrey (Pat), Julie (Karen), Aubrey, Kristen (Ryan), Jason, Maurice (Nina), Joseph (Linda), Nicholas (Sandy), Ashley, Melisa (Michael), Michael (Kelly), Sarah, Lisa (Stefan), Jordan (Kelsie) and Alanna; great-grandchildren: Cody, Nicholas, Cassidy, Jasmine, Raven, Grayson, Elizabeth, Conner, Phoenix, Kahlan, Parker, Rico, Olive, Hawk, Astrid, Jackson and Brooklyn; extended family, David (Kara) and their children Barrett and Morgan, Ryan (Chelsea) and their children Hailey and Taya; brother Herman (Flora); sisters Edwina, Orise (Fernard) as well as, many nieces and nephews. In accordance with Blanche's wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
