Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH MCBRIDE 1937 - 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce Elizabeth McBride passed away on August 29, 2017 from a short battle with pneumonia in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Elizabeth was born on June 26, 1937 in Belfast, Ireland. She spent her childhood in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Canada in her early twenties where she remained for the rest of her life. Elizabeth took pride in her career as a caregiver. In 2001 she received an Award for Excellence in care. Elizabeth will be forever remembered by her loving brother Hugh Burns, her daughter Patricia Halcrow (Beverley), her granddaughter Caroline Wojtczak, grandson Joey Wojtczak, great-grandchildren Colten Neufeld, Jackson Kossatz and Makala.
