Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES KRNJAK 1933 - 2017 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Krnjak on September 17, 2017 at the age of 84. Left to mourn her passing are son Boris (Diane); grandchildren, Kristin and Colton and sister Tilka from Slovenia. Frances was predeceased by her husband Rudi in 2007; parents, Franc and Antonija and brothers, Slavko and Franc. Frances was born in Podgorci, Slovenia on February 27, 1933. As a young girl, after the Second World War, mom moved to Maribor, Slovenia to find work. Mom met Rudi in 1955 and were married on New Year's Eve in 1959. Mom and dad moved to Canada in 1964 and welcomed their only son Boris in 1966. Frances worked at Sportease Fashion for many years before medical issues forced her from the workforce. Frances loved the outdoors and family camping trips. She was also known for her cooking. Simply the best! You are going to be dearly missed Mom. Rest in peace. I offer my condolences to Boris on the loss of his mother. Frances was a wonderful lady, so generous, kind and with a great sense of humor.
