Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySOOKDEYA ARJUN Sookdeya Arjun, 83, of Guyana passed away peacefully on September 20, 2017 at the Grace General Hospital. Sookdeya was born in De-Kendren, West Coast Demerara on December 19, 1933 and is predeceased by her husband Ramharakh Arjun, two brothers, and one grandson. She is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law: Ganga, Ralph (Nero), Bheesham (Neraji), Balram (Parbattie), and three daughters and sons-in-law: Bano (Ivan), Shanta (Tony), and Sheukumarie (Krishna). She will be missed by her 21 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Sookdeya will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her strength and resilience to provide for her family is a legacy that will be carried out through her children and grandchildren. Sookdeya was a natural caregiver and a nurturing soul. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 5Y4.
