Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • My condolences on Marjorie's death. In the past year our intrepid group of world travelers has lost Marge, Ev Doolan and my husband Bill Owen. I can imagine the three of them now sharing tales of all our travel experiences and having lots of laughs in heaven. I especially remember the party we held for Marge when she was made a Dame of St. John's Ambulance, and we 'knighted' her! She was truly a good friend to all, and very kindhearted. I am so sorry that because of health issues I am unable to attend the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers are with Marge and all her friends who mourn the loss of her friendship. - Posted by: Margaret Owen (Friend) on: Sep 24, 2017

  • My sincere condolences to Carol and Jodie, on Marj's death. I met Marj at McClure United Church. We were both involved in the Stephen Ministry Program for many years. She was a strong, dedicated, kind lady with a very strong loyalty. She enjoyed her trips with Evelyn and maybe they are travelling together once again! It was a privilege knowing Marj and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Jackie - Posted by: Jackie (Fellow members at McClure United Church) on: Sep 23, 2017
