Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGWENDOLYN FIEBELKORN (nee SCHMIDTKE) Gwen passed away peacefully at the Beausejour Hospital on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the age of 87. She is predeceased by her husband Karl in 1999; her parents, Reinhold and Lydia Schmidtke and her sister Elsie Fiebelkorn; as well as her sister in-law Vivian Schmidtke and brother in-law David Omichinski. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Brenda (Vernon) Otto and Carol (Tom) Hay; grandchildren, Linsey (Cliff) Otto, Kelly Otto, Christy (Neal) Smith, Jason (Amanda) Hay; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Emmett Smith, Kayley and Kierra Hay. She is also survived by her siblings, Henry (Audrey), Wilma (Rudy), Marlene, Louis, Wilbert (Eva) and Joan (Gordon). A special thank you to East Gate Lodge and the Beausejour Hospital for all the care and compassion they showed towards our mother during her stay. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 403 First St. N., Beausejour.
