Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHECTOR EDWARD PALEHITSKI Peacefully, Hector passed away on September 26, 2017 at the Vista Park Lodge. He will be remembered by his sister Helene Mondor and sister-in-law Wilma Palehitski; his nieces and nephews, Sharon (Phil), Philip (Patti), Walter and Wendy; extended family Mario (Stephanie) and their children, Patrick and Anthony; Lynn (Brad) and their child Aria, Louise and Elias; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father William (Bill) Palehitski and mother Helene Palehitski-Romano; brother Willie and stepfather Bill Romano. Hector was born and raised in St. Vital. When Hector got out of school he worked the Midway Shows and also golf course maintenance, later working at Superior Envelope. A special thank you to all the staff and caregivers at Vista Park Lodge, all the home care givers of the last ten plus years and the nurses and doctors at St. Boniface and Victoria Hospitals. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hector's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, CancerCare Manitoba, or a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, Highway 1 East at Navin Road.
