RONNY MATIATION Peacefully, in the early morning hours of October 4, 2017, Ronny Matiation passed away at the age of 53 years. Ronny was born March 4, 1964. He leaves behind his wife, Chris, sons Travis (Kristyne) and Cory, dad Gene (Fran), and brother Dave. After Ronny graduated from high school, he was employed by Westfair Foods, where he worked for 35 years until his illness. This dear man lived his entire life to the fullest, whether it be his passion for bowling, cars, or his family. Ron and Chris met 34 years ago at Kildonan Park and were married September 15, 1990. The boys followed and he was a devoted, loving, involved father. Ronny bore his illness with great strength, bravery and determination. Until the end, his priority was making sure his family was ok - teaching us things he knew we would have to look after on our own once he was gone. He was a completely selfless man, always putting his family first, always willing to help a friend or neighbour. He will be deeply missed by so many. A service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 - 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St., West Saint Paul, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Brain Tumour Research, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. seasonsfunerals.ca
