Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOAN HUTH (nee HICKS) It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother Joan Huth on October 1, 2017 with family by her side. Joan was predeceased by her husband Phil; son Rick; mother Mary and brother Gerry. She is lovingly remembered by her son Tim (Jan); daughter Dawn (Glenn) and grandchildren, Devin (Kevin), Joel, and Brant. Joan is also survived by her sister Gail; brother Billy (Diane) and sister-in-law Norma. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to her cousins, Diane and Barry, friend Marlene, and especially to the 3rd floor palliative care staff at the Riverview Health Centre for the care and compassion shown to Joan. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 10 in St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St Anne's Road. A private interment will be held. I have missed years of my sisters life due to others that helped keep us apart. My sister Dodo and I were very close after I had my children! She came to visit me in Vancouver and I came to Winnipeg and was always an exciting and happy time!!! Dodo was a exceptional cook and baker , my hubby Lee loved her cripple she even mailed some for him!!! The last words my sister spoke to me " I love you Cooks" and I love you too Dodo and I will always the good times , happy times and the love we shared.
