DOMINGA BELLO With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Dominga (Mengie) Bello in the late evening on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by her loving family members. She has left to mourn, her husband of 45 years, Ruben; son Richard; daughter Ruby; daughter-in-law Marjorie; son-in-law Nathaniel; grandchildren, Lily and Iris; sister Manuelita and brother Amador. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mengie was born in Biliangao, Philippines, immigrated to Winnipeg in 1968 and worked as a registered nurse at the Victoria General Hospital for 37 years. She was a matriarch for the family and a devoted Catholic. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Mengie will be greatly missed by all. She had great strength, perseverance and a loving heart. May her soul Rest In Peace in the loving kingdom of God. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, 85 Kirkbridge Drive with Father Gerry Sembrano as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Fort Garry Roman Catholic Cemetery on Crescent Drive at South Drive. A time for viewing will begin one hour prior to Mass.
