GRACE WILLIAMS (HALE)
Date of Passing: Oct 05, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE WILLIAMS (nee HALE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Mom and Nan, on October 5, 2017 at Concordia Hospital. She left us peacefully with her two daughters/best friends by her side. Grace was born in Toronto, Ontario, where she resided until her 20s. She then moved to Winnipeg, MB, where she remained until her passing. Grace and Lloyd raised their three daughters in the East Kildonan area. Grace's most cherished thing in her life were her girls and grandbabies, and they cherished Grace with all of their hearts. She touched the lives of everyone that was fortunate enough to know her; she was a beauty inside and out with the most generous heart. Grace's sense of humour and wit brightened many lives. Even with her declining health, her sense of humour remained. Her grandchildren will never forget the downtown adventures, Nan's best ever homemade soup and how she brought the magic to every single Christmas. Grace is survived by her daughters, Bonnie and Cindy (Don); grandchildren, Rodney, Ryan, Trisha, Gary, Kyla (Ryan) and Michaela; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Felicity, Sunny, Maddie, and Xavier; her dearest friend Amy who shared a lifetime of love; family out east who Grace adored, and her cousin Phyllis, who was loved by Grace like a sister. She was predeceased by her daughters, Donna and Diane, and her husband Lloyd. We would like to thank Mom's neighbours and friends, Diane and Forest for their kindness this past year and to Sharron for her friendship. Thank you to Dr. Clendenman, nurses and aides at Concordia for the care and compassion they gave Grace. We are so grateful to all. Our hearts are broken to lose you, we love you beyond words and will miss you forever. A private family service has been held. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenedenmemorial.ca Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111

I had the pleasure of both knowing Gracie and working for her. She was such a kind woman with a great sense of humour ! She often spoke of her children and her husband with such love and admiration. I thought of Gracie often over the past several years. Rest in peace Gracie. - Posted by: Kim (HomeCare worker) on: Jan 13, 2018
