CLARA MARY WIEBE May 17, 1931 - October 7, 2017 Clara Mary Wiebe (nee Hiebert) was born May 17, 1931 in Bloomstein district, near Winkler, Manitoba, to Henry Martin and Martha Hiebert (Karlenzig). She had six sisters and two brothers. Clara went with her sister Amanda and Violet to work in Winnipeg for a while. She worked in the Misericordia Hospital. She then moved back to Winkler to return to school. After school she worked at a store cutting material. She met Archie Allen Wiebe through his brother Clarence who was going with Violet. They married January 22, 1955. Once married they moved to Winnipeg and began working for Eaton's. They had two daughters, Roxanna in June 1957 and Audrey in November 1962. Clara worked for four years at St. Boniface Hospital as a care aid. She also babysat various kids through the years. She also did private house cleaning. Clara was predeceased by her beloved husband Archie, in 2015; her parents, brother Angus Hiebert; sisters, Elsie Klassen, Amanda Ewert, Hilda Reimer and Ruby Dyck. She leaves to mourn her daughter Roxanna (Dale) Peterson and daughter Audrey. Her grandchildren, Kurtis (Shawna), Rianna (Owen Westerlund) and Liseanne (Josh Beatty); great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Emerson, Collin, Chesney, Liam, Jachin and Tielle. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Lilly Theissen and Violet Lindsay; and brother Henry Hiebert. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Pentecostal Church, 955 Wilkes Ave. Interment will take place in the Elm Creek Cemetery.
