Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY DAVIES 1920 - 2017 On Saturday, October 7, 2017, my mother started another journey to be with the love of her life W. H. (Henry) Davies. Born on August 17, 1920, Mary attended the Notre Dame Convent in Leipsic, Saskatchewan. In the summer she went home to the family farm near Landis, Saskatchewan, where she met and married Henry. Together they had a wonderful life. Both were employees of Eatons for over 25 years. Mary travelled the world. She went on many trips and cruises. She also loved her nickel slots at the Shooting Star Casino and her many annual shopping road trips with Jan. She spent years at West Hawk Lake where she continued to go well into her 80's. The other joys in her life were her only daughter Janis and son-in-law Ernie, her grandson Bradley, and great-granddaughters Kelsie Davies Palmer and Natalie Christina Palmer. Mary will always be remembered for her loving spirit. She was predeceased by W. H. (Henry) Davies, her parents C. H. (Henry) and Veronica Burns. She is survived by her daughter Janis Palmer Kowalec, her son-in-law Ernie, who she adored, her grandson Bradley Jaeson Palmer (Nicole), her great -granddaughters Kelsie Davies Palmer and Natalie Christina Palmer (Charlene Woodley), her extended family who we are forever grateful to, Sheila Palmquist and John Jamieson, who always watched over and helped her, her sister Anne Parnitsky and many nieces, nephews and cousins. So in Mary's Tradition, we celebrate her 97 years. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Cemetery and a luncheon gathering will take place following graveside for everyone to share memories of mom. I love you Mom and miss you, until we meet again. - Janis GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery (204) 222-3241 Condolences may be sent to www.greenacresfuneralhome.com

I would like to extend my condolences to Janice and the rest of Mary's family. I would like to share this quote with Mary's family. Mary has not died, but merely gone away to a better place free of pain and suffering. We will see her again some day. Rest in peace Mary. You are loved and will be missed. - Posted by: Patricia Lee Homenick (Daughter of Harry and Annette Homenick friends of Mary) on: Feb 27, 2018
