  • Our sincere condolences to you and your family. This comes as a shock to us. May she rest in peace. - Posted by: Michael and Adele Monchka (Acquaintance) on: Oct 23, 2017

  • Nancy's legacy for our family will always be the outstanding Ukrainian Christmas dinner at the Shewchuk's home for 26 years. Nancy lovingly prepared this traditional meal and it was a great privilege to be invited each year. It was a tradition to capture the Holy Supper in a group photograph with all in attendance around the dining room table. Nancy always enjoyed telling us about the latest accomplishments of her beautiful family. Nancy was a skilled and knowledgeable gardener, who generously gifted us vegetables from her garden. We saw first hand Nancy's down to earth hospitality and we were always inspired to work harder at building family bonds. Rest in Peace, Nancy. • Please accept my condolences on the loss of Nancy. I loved going to see her every spring to buy my flowers. She was a very warm, kind and friendly person. My Mom, Shirley Fulford, loved going to visit with her and would tag along for the flower buying but was really there just to visit with Nancy. - Posted by: Tracy Cassie (Neighbour) on: Oct 18, 2017
