Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHANS DIETER BAUER September 16, 1954 - October 5, 2017 With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Hans Dieter Bauer on October 5, 2017, with his wife and children, in Winnipeg, at his side. Hans is remembered with much love, joy, and tears by wife Souada, mother Inge Bauer, sister Ingrid Andrews (Bruce), nine children, five grandsons, and one cat. Hans was predeceased by his father Hanns August Bauer. Pops was a deep, thoughtful, gentle man who loved us unconditionally and gave us a safe space from which to discover our own paths. "Love never ends." A family celebration of Hans's life was held on October 13, 2017, at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, followed by a private interment.

I first met Hans when he returned to Canada from Africa and he came out to visit his mother at Eight Foot Falls. Hans was a true gentleman and a dedicated family man. When he came out to the cottage he always towed the kids behind the green boat that his mother, Inge, named the "Vave Runner".
