Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGUNTER GUNTOLF PLUESCHOW Gunter Plueschow passed peacefully from this earth at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017. He is survived by his two sons Michael Plueschow and wife Susan, Lloyd Plueschow and wife Susan, granddaughter Aynsley, grandson Kristian, and his great-grandchildren Eli and Riley. Gunter was born in Berlin, Germany on September 15, 1918. Gunter married the love of his life Rosemarie Schirg on September 20, 1952 and then left for a new life in Canada, before the birth of his first son Michael. Rosemarie joined him soon after and together they moved to British Columbia, to raise a family. In 1959 Gunter moved his family to Winnipeg where he joined the Canadian Armed Forces. Many will remember Gunter's passion for photography, music, and people in general. He passed his passions on to his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who ever got to meet him. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 59 Academy Road, with Pastor Todd Hoeffs officiating.
