SANDY LAMIRANDE June 20, 1946 - October 20, 2017 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sanchia (Sandy) Margaret Lamirande (née Pielou). Sandy leaves her beloved husband Rolly Lamirande; daughter Michelle De Guzman (Alvin); granddaughter Megan; sisters, Linda (Jerry) and Moreen; and brother James (Aniko). She was predeceased by her sisters, Donna O'Toole and Carole Campbell; mother Margaret Frederick; father Harry Pielou; and stepfather Henry Frederick. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Winnipeg Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Friends and relatives are encouraged to share in a photo-tribute, stories and condolences for the family by visiting Sandy's memorial page at IntegrityDeathCare.com. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Intensive Care Unit at the Concordia Hospital for their best efforts and compassionate care during Sandy's time there. Although Sandy and I were not very close at the time of her passing at one time we were best friends as well as cousins. I am very saddened by her passing and feel very sorry for her family for their loss. Sandy will not be forgotten. Just look in the face of her daughter and you cannot help but think of her.
