Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Mrs. Neumann was our neighbour and soon became a fast friend to my family and to my children. She had an amazing memory for Birthdates, loved curling (could recite stats like no one I had ever known), loved her cats and especially her family. She would speak proudly of her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. We chatted a few times every year and it was like time never ceased between calls. My children's fondest memory while visiting her was listening to her jokes and when she shared her Werther's candy with them. It took me years to realize that she named her cat Butterscotch after the flavour from Werthers. She was an amazing woman and will be sorely missed. My condolences to her family <3 - Posted by: Tara (Neighbour/Friend) on: May 17, 2018

  • My sister.... she was generous, wise, loved to sing and tell jokes, Regardless of her handicaps, she was always happy. She loved to talk and laugh on the phone with me of events in our past. She had a fantastic memory. I will miss her very very much. Rest peacefully Ev, I always loved you. Your young brother Wobert Earl. - Posted by: ROBERT E PETERSON (Brother) on: Oct 29, 2017

  • I'm both shocked and saddened to hear that Evelyn passed away. I often looked up as I walked into the building in the early morning hours, to see if a light was on. As her HCA I had been with Evelyn along time and we shared a lot of laughs and some quiet moments. My heartfelt sympathy to Stacy and Sean. My Wednesdays feel empty now. - Posted by: Maureen (Care Worker) on: Oct 28, 2017

  • I remember Ev much as Sean described her - loved to tell off-colour jokes and stories, always ready with a laugh, generous and a cat lover. Although I have not seen her for many years, I am glad to hear she had not lost her zest for life. - Posted by: Edith Richardson (Friend) on: Oct 28, 2017
