Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER ALEXANDER TYNDALE May 21, 1938 - October 25, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Peter died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy, and his seven children: Patricia Tremback (Ron), Margaret Pearce (Bob), Barbara Hacking (Glenn), Donald Letkeman (Bernice), Trudi Bruce (Tommy), David Tyndale (Tara) and Edward Wright (stepson), as well as twenty-two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Peter was born in Calgary, Alberta and is predeceased by his parents, Sanford Oscar Tyndale and Mabel Margaret Tyndale (Brunton). Peter is remembered for his storytelling, wonderful sense of humor, and love of family. His family and friends benefited in many ways from Peter's broad range of handyman skills which included cabinet-making, home renovations, auto-mechanics, plumbing, and many other creative talents. He enjoyed camping and spent many summers at Miami Beach, Manitoba. He loved to cook and at one time owned a pizza restaurant. He loved his pets and petitioned for the "Fluffy Law" which would have enabled seniors to have pets in their apartments. Peter supported his family in a variety of jobs throughout his life including municipal policing, Mac's Convenience Stores, and Canadian Linen. A celebration of Peter's life will be held on November 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the Manitoba Eastern Star Chalet, 525 Cathcart Street, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cops for Cancer (Canadian Cancer Society). NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 neilbardalinc.com

Peter will be long remembered by my kids for the help he gave us with our mobile home at Miami Beach. He made it possible for us to have "a cottage" when it was most important to them. I will never forget him for his interest in everyone, and his great ability to tell a good story. Even though he tried, I never learned how to play cribbage. We'll miss you Peter. - Posted by: Linda Benson (Friend) on: Oct 29, 2017
