Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDITH MARGARET BARLEY (BJORE) May 22, 1950 - October 25, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Barley. Judy left us peacefully with her family by her side, after a long and brave fight with cancer. Judy was born May 22, 1950, the daughter of Louis and Gertrude. In 1972, Judy married her high school sweetheart Barrie Barley (predeceased). They went on to have two children Jennifer (Mark) and Jason (Heidi). Judy was blessed with a grandchild in 2015 - Bethany, who she loved more than anything. Judy also leaves behind her brother John (Donna) and their three daughters: Tricia (Dave), Leslie and Heather (Mike). Judy's greatest treasure was her family and spending time at the cabin she helped build with her parents. Before retiring in 2015, she worked at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg for 38 years. A celebration of Judy's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. A big thank you to CancerCare Manitoba, St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit as well as the amazing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Oncology Department for their compassion and support during a difficult time. I had interacted with Judy while I was working in HR. at HSC. She was a pleasant woman and was a good friend. When I retired I had to go to physio many times-where she worked-and kept in touch with her family and ours. She will be truly missed-sympathy to the family. Jenn and Jason, My deepest heartfelt condolences to you both. Your mother was a beautiful soul and she will be missed by many. We loved her very much and I personally will never forget the time we had at the cabin with you all playing washer toss, red river rummy, big Bon fires and delicious meals. May she soar with the Angels and be in the loving arms of your Dad. - Posted by: Grant Newitt (Friend) on: Oct 28, 2017
