KELLY WADE KABERNICK There was no better husband, father and friend than Kelly Kabernick, and it is with the deepest sadness that we have to say goodbye to this wonderful man. Kelly was a carefree guy, full of the joy of living. His laughter was contagious and he had a smile for everyone. The master of balance in his everyday life, he blended family and work seamlessly. He relished every aspect of life from farming to family, friends, travelling, and sports. Kelly could see the fun in everything and enjoyed sharing his passions with his family and friends alike. He would be so bummed that his life was cut short - there was so much more he wanted to do, and so many plans for the future. Everything Kelly did, he did well and he accomplished a great deal during his time with us. Kelly was born February 27, 1973 in Winnipeg. He attended JA Cuddy School and Sanford Collegiate. Kelly acquired a BSc in Agriculture in 1995. He and his wife Christine have farmed the family farm for the last 17 years. Mourning Kelly are his beloved wife Christine, his amazing five children, Kate, Lauren, Mackenzie, Carson and Julia. Parents Rae and Garvin Kabernick of Sanford, sister Stacey and Weldon Enns and their children Carleigh, Kyle, Tria and Quinn. Mother and father-in-law Emmanuel and Susan Van De Velde of Killarney. Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rochelle Van De Velde and Darwin Monita, Julie and Gil Garcia, Roslyn and Brad Cullen, Laurena Van De Velde and Markus Erkelenz, Daniel and Jackie Van De Velde. "Uncle Kelly" will be missed by Jenna, Noah, Sarah, Madeline, Sophia, John, Marco, Nicholas, Spencer, Jaxson, Rebecca, Hannah, Ethan, Olivia, Alex, Anthony and Russell. Kelly is predeceased by his infant son Carter, who will welcome his dad. Kelly's memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4 at the Grant Memorial Baptist Church in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sanford Recreation Centre (Box 36, Sanford), the Sanford Greenspace Project (cheques to the Red River Valley School Division can be dropped at JA Cuddy School) or to the Lighthouse Mission. Doyle's Funeral Home in care of arrangements. www.doylesfuneralchapel.ca
