Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRITA ROSSIER It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Rossier, 91, with her family by her side, on October 26, 2017. Born on December 14, 1925 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, spent her childhood in Laurier, Manitoba, then moved to Saint Rose du Lac where she graduated from the nursing program in 1948. She was a dedicated nurse, gaining experience in different hospital positions. She joined the Sanatorium Board of Manitoba in 1961 as a field supervisor of preventive health surveys. In 1975, she accepted a nursing position at the Health Sciences Centre until she retired in 1986. Her passions included travel, bowling, knitting and spending time with family. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Arlene Turton (Barry), grandchildren Jason Turton (Susan) and Kristen Lange (TJ), and great-grandchildren Azaryn and Olivia. A special thank you to the staff at Foyer Valade for their loving care and support through to the final hour. Funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date.
