He will be sadly missed by his loving family. He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Raymond, children, Brett and Kassi; daughter Colleen, children, Shavaun (Denis) and Pele (Nikki); daughter-in-law, Marni (Ted), children Aaron (Robin), Sean, Jodi (Cory) and Madison; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey, son, Michael, and granddaughter, Cheupe. Harold was born in Carman to Milt and Mae Woods in 1933. He attended school at Brigdenley School near Homewood. He worked for Western Petroleum in Winnipeg. He was married in 1956 to Audrey Dunbar, of Carman. A year and a half after the birth of Raymond they moved back to the family farm in Homewood area. The farm was home. Michael and Colleen followed to join the family. They continued to farm till 1984 when they moved to Africa to work for CIDA where they resided for four adventurous years. They travelled extensively while in Africa and in Europe. When they returned they moved into town. Flying was Harold's passion. He got his license in 1958 when they were first married. He was part of the group who started the Carman Flying Club, president of the Flying Farmers of Manitoba in 1978 and Flying Farmer of the Year in 1979. These groups took him to many locations across North America. Harold was a people person and could sit and talk to anyone. He loved the news and loved his electronics. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
