Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE EMILY JACOBY It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anne Jacoby (Nana) on October 29, 2017 at the age of 94 years. Anne was predeceased by her husband Walter Lodge (Pappy); her sisters Vera and Ellen; her beloved cat Hobart; and dog O'Maley. She leaves behind daughter Karen (Jim); sons Michael (Sandra) and Patrick (Bernice); and her grandchildren Jake, Taryn, Stephanie and Ali. Nana loved to paint, create ceramics, knit, and crochet. She also enjoyed her Bingo nights with the Kenbur crew. She'll be sadly missed by her dear friends Marguerite, Helen, Hilda, and neighbour Barb. Thanks is extended to her doctors Tim and Rick Ross over the years, and the staff at Misericordia's 6th floor care unit. As per Anne's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. For those that so desire, donations in her memory can be made to the War Amps or a charity of choice. "Love you Nana" FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, But remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles; I've only gone to rest a while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, My going has eased my hurt, and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, Not as I am, but as I used to be. I will remember you all and look on with a smile, Understand in your hearts I've only gone to rest a while. As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you. I believe that every person we cross paths with in life has a purpose. Some we simply meet, some become long lasting friendships, and some take a short walk with us on our journey. The latter was your Mom for us. We felt an instant connection with Anne. My Mom's days were better when spent with yours.
