JOYCE MILLAR It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Millar on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the age of 73 years. Left to lovingly remember Joyce are her dear son Jim (Peg); step-daughter Linda; step-son Barry (Gloria); brother-in-law Mike (Lavaughn); sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Phyllis, Brenda and Jean; granddaughters, Jennifer and Lindsay; seven step-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Many of Joyce's loved ones have passed on before her including her parents; siblings and her beloved husband Jack. The hardest loss for her was that of her son John, three years ago. This broke her heart. Joyce was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg. She was employed by The Manitoba Clinic for over 20 years and was working in the Visual Fields department up to the point where her illness forced her to retire. She will be remembered by her colleagues and patients alike for her professionalism and keen sense of humour. In keeping with Joyce's wishes, there will be no funeral service. If friends so desire, donations can be made in Joyce's name to CancerCare Manitoba or the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation.
