Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOYCE THERESA ARMETTE May 22, 1937 - November 2, 2017 After a long battle with Alzheimers, Joyce passed peacefully in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 80. Joyce was born in Winnipeg to parents Alexander and Florence McCulloch. Joyce spent her working years as a packaging supervisor for Jostens for 40 years and developed some great connections with her co-workers. Her favourite pastimes included gardening, baseball, walking and spending time at the family cottage in the Narrows'. You would often find her watching her grandchildren and spoiling them with her devoted love as her family was the essence of her heart. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband Walter. She is survived by son Lorne Armette (Wendy), daughters Wanda Hamilton (Jeff) and Brenda Mazur (Tim); grandsons Craig Armette and Timothy Mazur; granddaughters Robin Hamilton, Brittany Mazur, Serenity Hamilton, predeceased granddaughter Amber Armette; great-grandchildren are Alexxis Mazur, Mason Hamilton and Riley Mazur. She is survived by her siblings Doug and Richard McCulloch, Lucy McCulloch and Florence Desaulniers. Predeceased sister Mary Silburn, and brother Kenny McCulloch. The family would like to thank big brother Doug for his devotion and support throughout her illness, it has been a comfort to the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Association of Manitoba. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.
