JEAN ELIZABETH STRUTT (nee MCGREGOR) July 12, 1925 - November 2, 2017 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Jean Strutt on November 2, 2017 at Charleswood Care Center at the age of 92. Left to cherish her memory are children, Pat (Malcom) Heckford, Milas (Brenda) Strutt, Susan (Tom) Elford and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Strutt; parents and siblings. Jean was born and raised in Neepawa where she met Robert and they married in 1951. They moved to Winnipeg to raise a family, with Jean working at Macleods until retirement. Jean loved to cook, sew and spend time with her family. She hosted many family gatherings and was eager to help when anyone needed. Cremation has taken place and no formal funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. "A Mother holds the hands of her children for a while but holds their hearts forever."
