Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE HARVEY ARTHUR FARTHING December 21, 1941 - November 6, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the unexpected passing of our dearly loved brother on November 6, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents Alice and Walter Farthing, his brother Ray Farthing, and his brother-in-law Tom Rowan. George will be deeply missed by his siblings Norma (Rowan), Harold, Donald and Martha Farthing; his sister-in-law Lois Farthing; cousin Brian Farthing of England; nieces and nephews, as well as many other family and friends. He will also be missed by his best friend Donnly Wiebe. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017 in the Oak Point Community Hall with Rev. James Bardsley officiating. Interment to be held in the St. James Anglican Cemetery. Lunch will follow in the Hall. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
