I want to offer my most sincere condolences to you John and to family and friends. Life has made a huge change...and although it will be very painful and you will feel lost for a long time....I promise you that with each small step it will get a little easier..one breath at a time..one minute at a time...one hour at a time..and one day at a time. You never completely get over it...but there will be a time when it will not be so raw. All this I know because of my son....my prayers are with all of you...Bern - Posted by: Ms. Bernie Tarbet (student) on: Dec 17, 2017

Gary and I have many fond memories of our dance classes and dance socials at Patricia's Dance Studio. Dear John. We recently received this very sad news of Patricia’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences to you and Patricia’s family. About thirteen years ago, a mature but newly married couple with few common friends, challenged themselves to take dancing lessons. It was Patricia’s friendly, bubbling personality and her casual and encouraging approach to teaching that allowed this couple to feel confident while making mistakes; to feel valued while appearing awkward; to slowly raise their eyes away from their toes and hold themselves straight and firm in good frame; to want to dance among more accomplished dancers and not feel intimidated; to thoroughly enjoy themselves pursuing an activity that was, at first, so much out of their comfort zone. Through dance, through Patricia, that couple made many new friends and many wonderful memories. Patricia helped change their lives for the better. We continue to dance. - Posted by: Wes and Rosemary Henderson (Students and friends, now living in BC) on: Nov 25, 2017

We were so sorry to hear about Patricia’s passing. Our condolences to John and her family. I used to go to Patricia’s dance studio for dance lessons throughout the years. I remember Patricia telling me her dreams of opening up her own dance studio and wedding reception when she taught at the Belgium Club. Not only did she succeed this dream, we were so pleased and excited to have our wedding there. Patricia was truly an amazing, talented and wonderful lady. We will miss her and her smile. - Posted by: Kim & Ron Smith (Friend) on: Nov 25, 2017

I am so sorry to hear of Patricia's passing. She truly gave it a good fight and always with a smile. She was a pillar in the dance community. I always felt welcomed at her studio where we all had such good times. Everyone who knew her, will forever miss her. She once told me "dancing makes you happy"! She was so right. I will always remember those words and think of her. I also like to think she is on a biggest dance floor somewhere with her biggest smile! - Posted by: Sherril Douglas (Friend) on: Nov 23, 2017

So sorry for your loss of a true Angel on earth. I use to work with Pat at United Grain Growers. We had lots of fun times, especially when we would go Ball room dancing after work and drink peach wine. The wine helped with the moves. Pat was always a happy, easy to talk to friend and she will be truly missed by all who were lucky enough to meet her. Keep dancing in heaven Pat Kim Krasnowski - Posted by: KIM KRASNOWSKI (FRIEND AND EX CO-WORKER) on: Nov 22, 2017
