PAULETTE CARRIERE-GAMACHE September 9, 1947 - November 20, 2017 C'est avec beaucoup de tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre chère Paulette le 20 novembre à l'âge de 70 ans. Elle laisse pour chérir sa mémoire son époux, Norbert, et ses filles Manon et Mylène. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil son père Oswald, son frère Donald (Karen), ses soeurs Lynne Carrière, Danièle Carrière (Glen), son beau-frère Jacques Ruest, ses nièces Martine (Warren), Alix (Dwayne), Marcelle, Michelle, Nicole, et Adrienne. Born to Lucile (née Beauchemin) and Oswald Carrière on September 9, 1947, Paulette was raised in St. Pierre-Jolys. A woman of innumerable talents and insights, maman was a dreamer and a realist. She had a keen eye for artistic endeavours, an affinity for cerebral engagement, and a passion for informed travel. She began her career as an educator of 35 years in St. Anne, in 1966. She taught at Ecole Guyot for 14 consecutive years after obtaining her Bachelor of Education at the University of Manitoba in 1983. The family would like to express gratitude to the Palliative Care Program at the Victoria Hospital and the Oncology Team at St. Boniface for offering compassionate care for our mother's resilient body and mind. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2:30 p.m., at the Niakwa Country Club.
